Reviews and Ratings
I was amazed by the breathtaking views from the large non-private balcony overlooking a portion of the town, although the room decor felt a bit tired. The service was top-notch with laundry, shuttle service, and ticket assistance available. The location, slightly uphill on Main Street, offered a peaceful setting within walking distance of the town. Dining was a delightful experience with a diverse selection of local specialties. The hotel's facilities were well-equipped and catered to all my needs.
I was upgraded to an immaculate and spacious room with a fantastic bathroom that included a large balcony overlooking the mountains, including the North Face of the Eiger. The room was quite big, which was a huge hit with my 13-year-old son. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, offering services like laundry, shuttle service, ski pass vendor, and paid shuttle service. The location was peaceful yet central, making it easy to walk to the village but a bit further from the spots we visited. The dining experience was superb with a wide variety of delicious and plentiful options. The facilities were top-notch.
My stay at the hotel was truly delightful. The rooms were a perfect mix of modern and historical charm, comfortable, and featured a balcony with stunning views of the mountains. The family-acquired paintings and knick-knacks added a lovely touch. However, there were a few minor drawbacks worth noting.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were spacious and offered a non-private balcony where I could enjoy stunning views of the town and the Eiger glacier. The breakfast was simple but delicious and plentiful, setting me up for each day's adventures. The location was peaceful yet convenient, close to the First and Pfinstegg Cable car for exploring all the exciting activities in the area.
Our room was roomy and comfortable with a very large deck overlooking the south ridge glaciers and gorgeous flowers. It was spacious and very clean, offering an awesome view of the mountain and village. The hotel location was ideal, not far from the shops/restaurants but far enough from the main center to avoid crowds. The dining experience filled us up for the whole day with an amazing view.
Staying at this hotel was an absolute joy! The rooms are excellent with super new bathrooms and ethnic interiors, opening onto a beautiful lawn and garden with a delightful patio and stunning mountain views. Everything is modernized with en-suite facilities and balconies, making it a truly comfortable stay. The public spaces, including the patio, covered porch, bar, game room, and laundry facilities, are all inviting and well-appointed. The only downside was the slightly higher price point, but the value for money is still worth it.
